Anda realized that she would be and is an artist already in her childhood. Although my parents encouraged me to choose a “safer” profession, painting is still an integral and necessary part of life. You should paint at least an hour a day!

Here, the subtleties of architecture and interior are intertwined with meadows and knowledge of the forest. We are, of course, talking about the Jaunmoku Castle, where a special exhibition was opened last weekend, which is largely inspired by Latvian nature. Allowing impressions With The artist, whose paintings are signed under the pseudonym Anda_abstract (Anda Neimane), does not have this one the first exhibition and not even the first exhibition in the palace. Namely, even before the opening, the works in Jaunmoku Castle have pleased the guests of the hospitable Luznava manor. And it seems that exactly in the interior, on the wall or on the ceiling of the installation, these paintings, mostly large format, are best appreciated in all their nuances of color and texture. Although in one of the halls, the works also alternate in a slideshow on the screen. In the exhibition, there are no names attached to them, although each work is given one, explains the author.

However, it is equally interesting for her to hear how and what exactly the viewer sees in her paintings. And the works really lend themselves to such interpretations, because they respond to what is seen around them and to the impulses of inspiration directly in the abstract form. One other element may be recognizable – a tree, a dandelion, perhaps a field of crops, but in this case they have only an indirect meaning. More feeling and play of colors.
